Being an independent practice, we can supply a huge variety of frames including plastic, metal, full, half rim and rimless frames for men, women and children. We carry over 700 frames in our basement dispensing area and stock lenses by Rodenstock, Zeiss, Essilor, Pentax, Seiko and many others.

Contact lenses

Contact lenses

We fit soft (monthly & daily disposable) and hard gas-permeable contact lenses, sourced from various suppliers such as Bausch+Lomb, Ciba Vision and Vistakon. If you are interested in contact lenses please make an appointment so we can discuss your requirements.

Sports eyeware

Sports eyeware

Different sports needs different equipment and have their own optical requirements. We offer a range of solutions from improving the performance of your existing spectacles to choosing the most suitable combination of new frames, goggles or lenses for your particular discipline.

Ocular coherence tomography

Ocular coherence tomography

OCT (ocular coherence tomography) is a highly advanced computerised eye scan. Similar to ultrasound, OCT uses light beams to scan and illustrate the different layers of the retina, and is able to diagnose many potentially serious eye conditions. Our Topcon 3D-OCT machine is state-of-the-art, and can detect even the most subtle changes to the retina.

This is particularly useful in macular degeneration (wet and dry), diabetes, glaucoma, macular holes and vitreous detachment. If you require more information regarding this advanced technology, please contact us.

Domicilliary visits

Domicilliary (home) visits

A recent change in the NHS eye exam regulations has made home visits much more technical. Special equipment is now required, and this area is now covered by specialist domiciliary providers. We have removable wheelchair ramps, and ground-floor access to all main services.
